VW Beetles were my passion for most
of life. I have left the bug
behind have settled down with this
VW powered Rupp Centaur. I have
also grown fond to the Schwinn
bikes of the 60s. I have always
been one to do my own
work so anything you see in
this album I have made painted or
restored myself.
This is a 1975 Rupp Centaur. I towed this critter home from a VW salvage yard for a price of
$350. Most all of what was there has been replaced, repair, repainted, or redone. I captured a half dozen first places with
it the first couple years. Then the road took it's toll and it looks riden and not showable in my judgement.
